WRITER · EDITOR · STORYTELLER · CREATIVE LEADER

I make complicated things worth understanding.

I make complicated things worth understanding.

I’m a writer, editor, strategist, and creative leader with 20+ years of experience across healthcare, entertainment, technology, travel, and some of the world’s best-known brands.

CHAPTER ONE

MAKE IT MATTER

MAKE IT MATTER

After 20+ years in content, I've learned that the job isn't to make more things. It's to decide what matters, create clarity around it, and help organizations act consistently.

MAKE IT PRECISE

Start with the audience. Find the real problem. Decide what deserves attention.

MAKE IT CLEAR

Turn complexity into something people can understand, navigate, and use.

MAKE IT CONSISTENT

Build the systems, standards, and shared language that help organizations show up consistently at scale.

MAKE IT MEAN SOMETHING

Find the human truth that makes people care, remember, trust, or act.

CHAPTER TWO

Storytelling gets more complicated when peoples' lives are at stake.

HEALTHCARE · CONSUMER EXPERIENCE · CONTENT STRATEGY

EnGuide Pharmacy

Express Scripts was introducing a new pharmacy experience for people using GLP-1 medications. I developed the pre-login content strategy to explain an unfamiliar model simply—helping people understand what enGuide is, how it works, and what to expect before entering the experience.

The challenge was balancing clarity, trust, and action in a healthcare space where people may already be navigating complicated treatment decisions.

CORPORATE BRAND · CONTENT STRATEGY

Creating a digital identity for The Cigna Group.

A corporate experience that clarified the relationship among the parent company, Cigna Healthcare, and Evernorth Health Services.

ENTERPRISE CONTENT STRATEGY · PROVIDER EXPERIENCE · GOVERNANCE

Making Complex Healthcare Content Work

When Cigna and Evernorth provider content needed to evolve across platforms, I helped turn a sprawling collection of pages, tools, forms, and resources into a more coherent experience. I worked across Product, UX, Design, and business teams to understand what providers needed, identify duplication and gaps, rethink information architecture, and establish content patterns and terminology that could scale. The work went beyond migration.

CHAPTER THREE

Lead from the work.

I’m a player-coach: I set direction, develop people, give direct editorial feedback, and still get close enough to the work to know whether it’s good.

Eight writers and content strategists mentored. Eight moved into bigger roles, took on greater responsibility, or became significantly stronger writers.

CHAPTER four

Learn the audience.

Find the idea.

Make every word earn its place.

Writing is where all of this started. It’s still how I think about audiences, ideas, clarity, voice, and what makes someone care.
